Visit to the interior Panama river trip and Indian village.3rd March 2014.

The pictures tell the story.
One hour's bus ride to the interior these men met the group us and we went with them in their canoes 1 1/2 hours up river to their village.
The Indians had these long dug-out canoes with out-board engines.

We were six to eight people in each canoe. The native in front is look-out.

The look-out steers the canoe past rapids and rocks in the shallow river.
